Watoto, an internationally renowned non-profit providing rescue for orphans and widows in Africa along with the Gasparilla International Film Festival presents an inspiring night of film and live song and dance performances.
“Restore Gulu: Child Soldier No More” documents the powerful story of restoration and hope in a community ravaged by an unthinkable war on children and the journey of healing and forgiveness that must take place to rebuild a community. Click here to watch the preview.
Immediately following the film, the globally renowned Watoto Children’s Choir comprised of former orphans ages 6 to 15 years old, on tour from Uganda, Africa will appear live to perform their newest Broadway style song and dance production “Beautiful Africa: A New Generation”.
The Watoto Children’s Choir recently gained worldwide attention by performing for the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace and also for the President at the White House.
