After packing Tampa Theatre in January, the Sundance award-winning film CHASING ICE is back for one night only – now as an OSCAR Nominee for Best Original Song, “Before My Time” featuring Scarlett Johansson and Joshua Bell.

In spring 2005, National Geographic photographer James Balog headed to the Arctic on a tricky assignment: to capture images of the Earth’s changing climate. Chasing Ice is the story of one man’s mission to gather undeniable evidence of our changing planet. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice disappearing at a breathtaking rate.
