Tampa Theatre’s mission is to entertain, educate and enlighten generations of audiences, which is why we make sure our rental rates for live school shows are the lowest event rental price we offer. Built in 1926 as a silent movie palace, our 1,238-seat auditorium hosts tens of thousands of students each year for cultural programs, often cultivating a fascination with both live theater and the community’s historical treasures that will grow with them through the years.
