Have you ever wondered what it costs to run Tampa Theatre?

  • $1,000 pays the electricity bill… for four days
  • $500 covers the licensing fees to show one classic film
  • $250 staffs the box office, concessions stand, stage and projection booth for one film screening
  • $100 buys four energy-efficient cold cathode ray light bulbs in the Theatre’s marquee. There are more than 2,400 hundred of them!
  • $50 provides study guides to teachers for one school field trip

As a non-profit cultural arts organization, Tampa Theatre relies on a lot of community support from people like you who understand and value what preserving and programming a landmark like Tampa Theatre means to our community.

Your gift will help the Theatre strengthen our education programs, book the very best films and concerts, and ensure that the facility is being constantly preserved, restored and improved.

If your company has a matching gift program, your contribution to Tampa Theatre can be generously increased and will do even more to support the Theatre’s mission. Ask your human resources office for a Matching Gift Form or instructions for on-line matching gift procedures.
