Dates and Times

Meet Hal, 87; Charlie, 87; and Maurie, 87; three of a group of friends who gather every day at one p.m. in the village of Dorset, Vermont to play a game called “paddle tennis.” They have been playing together for years. But moving beyond paddle tennis, The Longest Game takes on the ‘game’ of life, the stories we tell, and the underlying forces that connect us all.

Join Tampa Theatre and Seniors in Service to celebrate active and purposeful aging at this special screening! Director Camille Thoman will be there to discuss her passion for the film and the importance of remaining active, connected and purposeful as we age. After the film, stick around for a panel discussion from Tampa Bay’s own “Game Changers” in purposeful living, including former WFLA-NBC news anchor Gayle Sierens and fourth-generation owner of the Columbia Restaurant Group, Richard Gonzmart.
