VOLUNTEER

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at Tampa Theatre!

Our volunteer corps is affectionately named “The Gargoyles,” inspired by the Theatre lobby’s prominent statuary. In order to become a Tampa Theatre Gargoyle volunteer, CLICK HERE to register with Shiftboard. (Current Gargoyles can log in HERE)

The GARGOYLE GUIDE will educate you on what it takes to be a Tampa Theatre Gargoyle. It will also walk you through the registration process and show you how to sign up for the volunteer shifts currently available.

Once registered with Shiftboard, you’ll receive periodic e-mails from us about the different ways you can help. Our Gargoyles do things like:

  • Serve as ushers at concerts and special events
  • Lend a hand in the Theatre business office
  • Represent Tampa Theatre at outreach events
  • Assist with our Balcony-To-Backstage Theatre Tours
  • Conduct 15-minute “mini tours” before select classic movies (tour training required)

If you still have questions about volunteering after reading the GARGOYLE GUIDE, please contact Front-of-House Manager and Volunteer Coordinator Anthony J Gonzalez.
