BeerFest 2023

Over the past 13 years, Tampa Theatre’s signature summer fundraiser, BeerFest, has raised more than $100,000 for the nonprofit movie palace with events like Barley’s Angels, The Brews Brothers and Pee-Wee’s Beer Adventure.

Beer finds a way.

This year, the majestic movie palace welcomes you to Beerassic Park – presented by SouthEast Personnel Leasing – from 7:00-10:00pm Saturday, July 29, with an evening of craft beers and local brewers, plus snacks and samples from some of Tampa Bay’s top independent restaurants, including:

BeerFest guests are invited to don their dino duds, dress as their favorite Jurassic Park character, or come in a costume inspired by the movie. Guests must be 21 or older to attend and valid Government-issued ID is required for entry.

Like previous beer-infused, tongue-in-cheek BeerFest events, Beerassic Park is chaired by one of Tampa Theatre’s most ferocious Awesome-sauruses, Veronica Danko, owner of Seminole Heights’ Independent bar and cafe. And though the theme may be silly, BeerFest’s purpose is most serious: the 13th (almost) annual event benefits the Theatre’s artistic, educational and community programs, as well as the ongoing preservation of the 97-year-old historic landmark.

A limited-capacity premium sampling begins at 7:00 p.m., and advance-sale tickets are $75 / $65 for Tampa Theatre Members. PREMIUM IS SOLD OUT!

Grand sampling ticket-holders can enter at 8:00 p.m., and advance-sale tickets are $55 / $45 for Members at the Tampa Theatre Box Office or online (convenience fees apply).

Starting NOW, you can also CLICK HERE to register for the BeerFest silent auction and start bidding on a three-night Portland getaway, including air fare and hotel accommodations!

We’ll be joined on Saturday by the OneBlood Blood Bus from 3:30-8:30pm! Donors will receive a FREE Tampa Theatre movie ticket, a $20 eGift Card, OneBlood swag and a wellness check. Walk-ins are welcome, space permitting, or CLICK HERE to make an appointment.

BeerFest 2023 is presented by SouthEast Personnel Leasing, with additional support from The First Bank, Newgentek, eNox Media, Glazer Children’s Museum, and Tampa Bay METRO Magazine.
