Serendipity (2001)

1h 30m / PG-13 / Comedy

On a magical night when they’re both in the flower of their youth, Jonathan (John Cusack) meets Sara (Kate Beckinsale). He thinks it’s love at first sight, but Sara believes in destiny — and the kind of destiny that will pass a test. After ten years the pair, with 3,000 miles now between them, must decide if fate wants them to be together again. When love feels like magic, it is called destiny; when destiny has a sense of humor, it is serendipity. And yes, we will admit it, we’re suckers when it comes to believing in the magical magnetism that sometimes draws two random people together. But particularly around the holidays, who can look cynically at a movie like Serendipity — full of hope, optimism, and the delicate rapture of love being born?

To make this magical date-night complete, be sure to arrive early to enjoy caroling with the Tampa Oratorio Singers from 7-7:30pm
