In a sedate Massachusetts suburb circa 1970, unemployed family man and amateur art thief J.B Mooney (Josh O’Connor) sets out on his first heist. With the museum cased and accomplices recruited, he has an airtight plan. Or so he thinks.

Director Kelly Reichardt (First Cow, Meek’s Cutoff) exults in richly textured and patient detail. And true to form, this sly depiction of the malaise-ridden ‘70s subverts long-held illusions and confronts the folly of man. Well, one man. This one, extremely folly-prone man.

This screening is held in the Historic Duncan Auditorium. This space utilizes open seating for this event, seat selection is not required.
