The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 97th Oscars^® will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Tampa’s majestic movie palace is proud to bring the best of new, independent, limited-release and foreign-language films to our community so you have the opportunity to see Oscar-winning films on the big screen throughout the year.

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, March 2, 2025! Bay-area film fans are invited to come toast the nominees and celebrate the winners together at Tampa Theatre’s 26^th annual Hollywood Awards Night. Staples of the Theatre’s past glitz and glam event include:

• A limo ride around the block to arrive in style
• A red carpet reception, walk the carpet past adoring fans and the flashing lights of the “paparazzi”
• Play games, win prizes
• Free popcorn, soda, and a cash bar
• Late night complimentary coffee and donuts to help you make it through that Best Picture announcement
