From our Director of Development

Join us now and BE THE LIGHT!

To ensure our community’s safety during the rising public health threat of COVID-19, we had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors on March 12, 2020. This type of a shutdown is very difficult for nonprofit organizations like us, and we are so grateful that you are considering stepping up to help us.

Everywhere you turn, the world seems to be full of darkness right now. But every once in a while you see a glimmer of hope and light through neighbors helping neighbors and small business owners pivoting to help the community in different ways.

Thank you for being this bright light and supporting our majestic movie palace Tampa Theatre during these very challenging times. Your support is so important to us!

Our marquee has shone brightly for the last 94 years, lighting up the heart of Tampa. With your help, we know that Tampa Theatre will be able to survive this pandemic just like we survived the Great Depression, World War II… and all seven Police Academy movies.

Like you, we continue to take our cues from public health officials, and are hopeful that we will be able to welcome our friends and neighbors again soon to serve our community that we love so dearly.

In your service,

Maggie Webber
Director of Development
