Schedule Changes

Effective immediately, all programming at Tampa Theatre – including films, concerts, tours, and special events – has been suspended through the end of May in response to the rising public health threat posed by COVID-19.

Theatre management is working diligently with our film distributors, show promoters and rental clients to reschedule as many of the affected dates as possible. Tampa Theatre Box Office staff are contacting ticket holders for all of the affected shows now with show-specific details, but in general:

  • Patrons should hold on to their tickets, which will be valid for new show dates
  • Once the new date is announced, patrons will have the option to keep their tickets or request a refund
  • For any show that is cancelled outright (with no plan to reschedule), refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
    • If you purchased your tickets from Tampa Theatre and have them in-hand, please contact for details on how to return them for a refund
    • If you purchased your tickets from Tampa Theatre and planned to pick them up at Will Call, refunds will be automatic to the credit card you used to make the purchase
    • If you purchased your tickets from a third-party reseller, please contact that reseller to discuss refund options

Tampa Theatre understands that this is a rapidly changing situation, and we will continue to take our cues from health organizations, local officials and our colleagues in the industry. We do apologize, and look forward to welcoming you all back to Tampa’s nonprofit movie palace again soon.
